I just paste the codes given to me by Adsense admin area on the webpage and it seems to me the url of the ads are missing? http://www.newthoughtclassics.com/William Wattles/The Science of Getting Rich/Chapter 1.html Can anyone point to me what's wrong?
Very strange, I checked your code and it seems normal. Other site's adsense ads urls appear.. have you tried using a different unit? It might be how your page was constructed.
I am facing same problem with two of my sites...I thought something was wrong with the templates and wasted an hour trying to find the problem . example: http://www.web-directory.net.in/
The funny thing is... I stick the codes into a blank page and I have the same problem. Its okay if the URL is missing and it's clean. But in my case and that of sachin410, its seems that a small part (the top) of the URL is visible. Looks ugly. Anyone knows what's wrong?
Digital point also has an Adsense unit that does not show the url. But it is cleaner. Note: The unit on the top right hand corner. But it doese not show up all the time.
i think might be a problem from code generator in google site. it works too hard and need a rest. XD give it a break and let it slave us again. ^^
I am having the same issue. Am I safe to assume the issue with Google and not my site. http://www.vistahelpforum.com
I tried taking a screenshot of DP adsense unit but it doesn't come up very well. Anyhow, DP's unit appear to be formatted without the URL. See http://www.newthoughtclassics.com/dp-adsense.jpg (not very clear but still visible) However, in the case of ours, it appears that the URL is being cropped off. How did DP manage to format an Adsense unit without the URL anyway?
My sites also show Adsense without the URL. Anuway, I'm glad it's not my fault....I'll send an e-mail to the Adsense team to be sure about it.
It has to do with placing the Adsense codes in divs. The webmaster IS at fault. I had to work around this for one site I was developing since the Adunits were getting screwed with.
you guys are getting all wrong..those ads in that format don't show URL. check it anywhere on the web. nothing is wrong..dont worry. No one knew this?
That is so true, the ads on 468x60 format has NEVER shown URL for me (unless for those advertising sites with just few words on their description/text). Nothing is wrong with the code, it has always been that way.
