What's wrong with green?

I'm working on a new wordpress theme to sell but someone just told me the green sucks and the green was what I liked about it best. Theme buyers, would you buy this this wordpress theme? If not why not? What's so wrong with the green? It's not done yet by the way. Once I'm done I'll be selling it. link to theme

 

Well it´s a bit hard on the eyes but i think you are wrong here about that question. Belongs into graphic section .

 

My eyes are green... And I also think they suck... But others say that is very beatiful... I hate green.

 

I love green but I had it on one of my websites and got many complaints that it was hard on the eyes. Mine was darker. Your theme is way to bright, I was not able to read it because it blinded me. I suggest if you like to stay green, you may want to go a little darker.

Oh well. I thought it was a great combination of colors there but since the first reaction I got to it was one of horror and I don't have a single positive thought about it I guess Ill have to change the color.

I tried selling a theme on DP once and had no luck, plus don't like the prices themes go for here so I won't be selling via this forum. Just wanted the opinion of people who actually buy wordpress themes on whether the green was as bad as my friend insisted.

 

tone the green down, any green to bright is a bad idea. Just make it darker and then maybe people will have a different opinion about it (ps. i hate fully fluid websites )

Ouch, thats actually quite painfull to look at, on the other hand, it is a nice theme.

 

Sorry but I agree. The kind of green you used hurts my eyes. I can look a it for a few more minutes. If you really want it green, you could improve it - nit the loud type of green or the neon type. Good luck!

 

Thanks for the opinions/suggestions everybody. I decided to change the green for now. Somebody gave me an infraction for mis-categorizing this post so I'll let the thread die.

 

Um....Yeah, The green kinda sucks. Why don't you try a more metallic flavor of green...dull it down a little, but still retain you vision of the color combinations?
The "Matrix" Combination of dark green and black was very well received.
Just a suggestion.
