what's wrong with DigitalPoint?

The mods are doing a great job and there is so much "repression" to prevent scammers.

... And you don't realize this forum category is for marketing, not bashing DP? If you used the correct forum (General) then mods wouldn't have to commit to moving posts here and there and doing so much work on it dont you think?

he talked negative to start a thread which earns lots of posts..it is all to start a famous thread and use the revenue sharing thing to earn some money...

No, I do not hate DP... in my opinion is the best Forum online. Everyone who doesn't like it should be thrown in the middle of a highway. I have never had any problems with any mods or admins and I luv it.

 

i dont think there is anything bad here coz this is the biggest forum according to me on the internet which talks about Making Money.

All those what you are telling is because if those are allowed then mods have to work more. Still keeping all these restrictions there are many still not following and getting banned.

I'm new to the forum and it likes me a lot so do members too but from my previus experience at other forums I found a pattern in members that I could call the golden rule:

Never say your favorite forum is the best online even if it is really and your opinion is sincere because you may change your mind whenever a moderator gives you an infraction or your account gets banned

Do you want to confirm I'm not wrong?

Do a background research on banned members that claimed this forum was the non plus ultra until they were banned and, according to one of those threads, some of them even started "DP sucks" blogs after then

As I said before, I like this forum and my suggestion is creating a forum concentration camp to send banned member there while the führer comes around

Trusted Writer I get what you mean, I have a lot of infractions and sure they make me mad but I know I deserved them... unlike other places where they just ban you cause they feel like it.

 

I knew there was some of anger behind your post for a reason, as I saw this attitude through old time members at those forums where I was mod.

I actually really like this forum. And nobody's forcing you to come here. You can go to whatever forum you prefer.

 

It's is good for another reason, which is good for new members like me. I don't know what is the economics of DP, so while on one hand I don't want to post a over the head price for a deal and crash my thread (and get some red reps), I also do not want to sell it for less than what it deserves, so this 14 day period is a good time to look at how DP members deal (and maybe who is trustworthy and professional)

 

The only difficulty I've had with DP is that there are so many people here, I don't really know any of them. It doesn't have the sense of community I've found on other forums, but what else can you expect from such a big place?

 

I wish each there were different themes to choose from. I like the color blue.

As of now the only difficulty that I have found a few minutes ago is that being this forum vBulletin-based it lacks of the pm exporting feature that IPB enjoys.

Or at least I didn't find how to email them to myself or export them as HTML

...the only thing wrong with DP is that there are too many dumbed-down threads.

 

I am not very old member, I have not seen those things you claim about digitalpoint yet. It is as good as another big forum but I do not want to advertise here.

I am here for just a week but like what I see.

A huge forum as DP will have to have some kind of moderation, else it will be easy prey to spam.
Strict control is needed to keep spammers at bay.
No complaints here.
