Since last 3 hours Google Adwords is really freaking me out cuz they want $10 to activate every single keyword i tried on it. Seems there is a problem with their system. I even enter word "like" with CPC 0.10 and got this message " set CPC $10 To activate this keyword". This is absolutely horrible. Can anybody tell me what's going on. Right now i can say only thing to Google "KI$$ MY A$%"
I think it must be an error because most of my ads at the moment are only paying like $0.03. Unless they are getting a big profit from it.
A high minimum bid means you have a low quality score. Increase your relevancy through improving your ad copy, bid only on relevant keywords and increase your landing page's quality. You can read up on it through the AdWords learning center.
Yes, Art is spot on. You have crap ads basically. Ads that add no value to Google's search engine and its users. Improve them in all ways Art mentioned and the minimum bid will come down again.
And check out your landing page too. If that's not relevant, and the site supporting it doesn't give the visitor a decent 'experience', you'll just get penalised later on (most probably on the one day you don't check your Adwords account!) H
I have yet to see anything like that in my adwords account. Are these for spammy type keywords like viagra, gambling, etc??? EDIT: nevermind I see the site name in your sig, that may have something to do with it p0rn?
It's most likely to be because of the content of your site, cleaning up your landing pages to remove anything that may appear pornographic would be a good start to increasing your quality score.
You have to realize that the majority of Google's controls are all algorithmic - as much as you think your page is relevant, if Google's algos deem it otherwise, you'll have to pay exorbitant amounts for clicks. Building landing pages for quality is something similar to SEO in the 90s, put content in there with your main keywords interspersed throughout.
Damn ... you mean those SEO tactics don't work these days??!!! Boy do I have a lot of catching up to do <giggle>
Of course they still work! ... finance mortage loan consolidation student loan finance mortage loan consolidation student loan finance mortage loan consolidation student loan finance mortage loan consolidation student loan
