    Hi,

I've heard that if a webmaster placing backlinks to his/her new websites from his/her websites which are hosted in the same hosting (means the same IP) will make negative effects because SEs recornize the IP and may penalizy these sites.

In my opinion, these is nothing wrong here. I am a webmaster and I have some websites, OK? What's is wrong if I have more than one websites? What is wrong if I put links between my sites? I do not violate any rule, right? Is there eny rule saying that linking between someone's own sites is not fair, not legal?

To be fair I think its ok to have a few of your own sites linking to each other the problem only comes if you have loads of sites linking to each other all from same IP or owner.

If you have 2 websites about fishing then of course your going to link them both and am pretty sure thats fine, problem comes when you have loads of various different types of websites all owned by the same person all linking to each other or all linking to a main site selling products or services.

If your still woriied about getting penalised you could always use the no follow for the link then you even covered yourself then.
