What's with the Bad DP Rep Around the Net?

    This is my first post. Have been lurking here for awhile. I'm a long time member of another IM forum & members there say this is the place to come for design & programming talent. I've definitely seen a lot of it. But what's with the caveat that seems to come along with recommending this forum?: "BE CAREFUL not to get ripped off!" I've heard this through several forums. What's the deal - are there lots of dishonest, fly-by-night artists I should be watching out for or what? :confused: Makes me a little nervous.

    Would you buy a genuine Rolex watch from a street peddler? I hope not. With any transaction online or in brick and mortar store, it pays to do your research.
