About a quarter of the available voting population voted for him. Not quite sure one can say 'we' elected him.

I would say the net isn't a very good show of what people are like. The majority of non-political sites, I see foreigners not caring. They may dislike a few politicians, but they really don't think of 'Americans' as 'this' or 'that'.

Can't tell you about conservatism as I don't practice it. You are full of asumptions. Keep going with the assumptions ...
If I told you I did'nt like Bush or Clinton would your brain would take the least path of resistance and assume I was a commie?
There is an old saying about the word assume keep going and I think I can coin a new word ... assu

Never accused you of being liberal and never screemed it.:D

If I make conservative comment does it make me a conservative?
Some with making a liberal comment. I could also use some faulty conservative thinking if I made a bad statement based on a lack of fact. I am done with this subject.

Have you ever talked to people about this abroad or overseas?
    Surely not.
I have talked to a few asian business people and they hate America for no obvious reason and are only jealous. (regarding to government issues and foreign policies)
Others who hate America are those who have had bad experiences with Americans behavings, which has nothing to do with Bush.

Fact is, it became way better with Bush.

    Go and digest that now.

I don't believe he asks anyone. He just tells others how to think. If you don't believe me, just ask nopputz!

As I pointed out his pattern in another post, noppid will never step in and defend America, he only steps in to attack those that do.

And clearly, he continued right down that same predictable path after I pointed it out. Once you know what to look for, it's so easy to spot!

Most foreigners do not like Americans because their government gives the impression that the country is stupid, bossy and rude. In some places in America, like the rest of the world, that may be true of the people as well. The rest of you though, I have great respect for. You brought us some great things (Apple), some not-so-great things (Microsoft), and I respect your country for that. Now that many things the American government does affects almost everyone, people in international countries have the right to be angry at the way the American government is treating the rest of the world.

I do not agree that America is a free country. In order to be a free country people need to give up something as small as one morning to vote. Every single person elegible to vote needs to vote to get the real general consensus. Otherwise, you get what is happening right now in America with a ****ed up government. Right now the American voting system is flawed because the majority of voters are those who feel strongly about one particular issue - sometimes health care, sometimes homosexuals. This gives the politicians a lot of leverage to get as many voters as possible with promises of fixing those "issues (sic)".

Please don't bite my head off for what I just said, but it is representative of what at least 70% of the rest of the world thinks about America.

could be because you live in the country that brings most damage to the world and at the same time you don't care about other countries and the people living there.
you are responsible for changing the world climate, because you don't care about kyoto.
you export your war to countries that you label "terrorist" just to support the industry that paid your presidents election campaign.
you are about to seperate the world in a muslim and non muslim part.
you are playing world police, not just in iraq, all the time your CIA supporting parts of countries fighting other parts.
you may have some great corporations. but your starbucks, macdonalds and whatever is flooding every major city in the world and taking the space of traditional cafeshops away. in the near future there will be no choice where i drink my cafe. and i don't want this starbucks crap.
ah yea, and if there wasn't google there would be lots of other search engines. google was just clever enoght to domanate the market. and i don't like too much power in the hand of just one corporation.
and there would be an internet without the US. it was invented by some swiss scientists at CERN...
just because you took the .com domains it doesn't mean you invented the web.

there are as many or more reasons i like about the usa, but you didn't asked for that.

there are some political issues, the first the kyoto protocol.
Well therefore Europe plans to tax American godds higher in the near future to cover for the upcoming costs of environental damage in the future.
For the rest I must say America has brought more good than bad to the world.
Whether one likes Starbuck etc. or not, fact is it that it is all in legal framworks within the nations they're operating. Pretty fair.

One thing I'm really concerned is, when America makes a drastic downturn on economic issues the whole world will suffer more than ever before, not because of them, but because there is nobody like America which acts in words and deeds towards more justice worldwide.

It's jealousy and jealousy. It's also a bit of jealousy.
No but seriously, American and the evil JOOOOOZ are trying to take over the world. Soon America and Israel are going to round up the entire world and march them into death camps. It's the Bush plan!

Oh and Nixon too Anthony, he's in on this...MAN!

Also, if America is such a horrible place, feel free to stop sneaking into our horrible country. :)

The above quote (Republican propaganda) was pulled from Jerry Falwell's (GTech) prior post!

GTech is falsely attacking Noppid par for the course, but I will say the quote describes the Nixon gang on this forum to the "T", they are so predictable indeed.

They always defend Cheney and Bush the best they can on most points, but when the truth and reality hit them, you never hear a peep out of them!
