   I run several sites which accept PayPal as payment.
   
   Lately we have noticed that 10-20% of payments are starting to come as "eCheck" payments...
   
   What is this about? Where did this come from all of a sudden?

   If sender send you money using an echeck then you need to wait for an echeck to be cleared first before sending goods and virtual goods.

   Sometimes 8-10 days as well (depends on sender's location IMO). Got such types of payments thats why.
