What's with Alexa?

I'm trying to look up site stat info and history on there and I know that before you were able to hit "max" in reference to length of time and it would show the complete history, up to 6 or 7 years I believe of that site.

Now when I hit it, it show me like the last 3 months. Real helpful.

Are there competitor sites with this information that I could donate money to?

 

When Alexa recently changed the way they rank sites, this was one thing that happened. You can't go back as far as you could before they changed things up.

 

Oh that's pretty queer. Any other sites with that kinda info?

 

ya they did some lame updates..
i lost rankings as well
anyone knows whats the new algo

 

It takes Alexa a really long time to update I think..argh.
Not too happy with the patience factor.

 

I like using alexa to see how many people from certain countries come to my site
