I created a site about 3 days ago and on Bing.com I am #2 out of 94,900,000 results already The bad thing though is I dont even show up on google or yahoo yet.....why?
I've noticed that - I'm ranked a lot higher on Bing than Google. I'm thinking that Bing is ignoring nofollow links.
each search engine has its own algorithm and work differently. you will not rank the same across all search engines. lot of people end up making different version of a site and optimize for different search engines
I read that Bing if different from Yahoo and Google Bing is a "decision engine" which must be different to a search engine.
Well because yahoo and Google have more visitors than Bing what I mean is that Goolge and yahoo are pretty famous that's why more people are using them as their search engine, this is one of the reasons why site owners prefer to have high position on these two sites,this cause the competition between sites in ranking high in Google
your site ranking depend to search engine allegorist because different search engine has follow different algorithm.
my site is ranked well in both google and yahoo but not on bing - that is really very strange.What causes this thing in bing?hmmmm....maybe depending more on domain names and on page seo?
Is it that it's not ranked high enough for you in Google and Yahoo, or that you're not indexed at all for anything? Just because you're ranked high or even first or second in Bing doesn't mean you'll even be top 20 pages on Yahoo or Google. Personally, I rank very high in Yahoo, front page in Google, and very poorly in Bing on the same site. Doesn't bother me as I have the two good ones down. If bing ever starts to receive a decent amount of visitors then maybe it's worth optimizing my sites for it.
