What's up with this?

So is anybody getting any sales from clickbank?

Just wondering from hearing all these things of a few thousand hops but no sales - my friend hasn't been making any more sales either..

Does clickbank work at all anymore at the time?

Or do you think it's just noobs trying affiliate marketing that don't know what they're doing and getting untargeted traffic or something?

 

LOL well, many people are complaining about this, CB has issues, that's for sure, but I've talked with many friends of mine, top marketers and they say fluctuations in sales are real but not as drastic or dramatic as people claim, personally, my sales haven't suffered. So i guess the second options is the right one LOL just my $0.02

Thousands of hops without any sales = non-targeted traffic ..

There are a few exceptions too, open up your mind a bit and think of the other reasons for not getting any sales such as a bad landing page or maybe you're promoting the wrong product.

There are a few products in the market place that only convert in 2000 hops which is completely a waste of precious time and money.

Think of it, how much money would you invest to get 20K visitors to your site? If the product converts in 2000 hops then you would be making only 10 sales in 20K traffic which is roughly $600. I bet you would invest a lot more than $600 to get 20K visitors to your site.

Another short calculation: Let pick the weight loss niche (just a pure example) where keywords on google adwords are anywhere between $0.20 - $3.00 but lets assume you only pick long tail keywords (the cheapest ones).

So you'll be paying $4000 to get 20K visitors which will make you $600. (pretty bad huh?)

Thing is your product should convert at least in 100 - 120 hops and that can easily be checked after your first 500 - 600 hops.

Conclusion: If you don't see any sales in that kind of traffic then you should stop promoting that product,simple as that. I bet you're not interested in losing time and money.

There are a few products that convert a lot better, look for those.

I don't know... I've checked analytics for ClickBank and it says I've had only 3 hops... I find that very hard to believe as links below these links I send like 20 clicks a day or so. (Not a bunch but still)

So it's like it's not reporting it for me? Clickbank seems like crap lately.

 

Yeah it's untargeted traffic. OTOH, I have seen my sales go down recently but it's prob just normal fluctuations.

 

my sales have been steady this week.. alot of paypal sales and a good number of CC sales too. Like inspration said I think alot of complains comr from newbies that dont know what they are doing!!

 

It is untargeted traffic. I check my account and some affiliates have 1:20 conversion. So if you have quality traffic, then your 2000 hops can make 100 sales.
