For some reason today my login/pass no longer worked. Its saved in my browsers so its impossible that it was entered incorrectly. Was something compromised? I'm completely miffed.

    Thanks!

did it just not take it at first or were you forced to reset it?

I had to reset it... Very strange. Normally I'd just blow it off, but I'm one of the first users here and have had the same user/pass saved since the beginning and have never had a problem before. Obviously I'm not new to VB or the internet. So who knows.

Just seemed kinda weird. Almost makes me wonder if it was compromised and someone changed it. Again, who knows.

Your forced to change it every 30 days, idk what the setting is. To provide safety from member accounts being hacked.

Since when? I've been here since the forums started and have NEVER had to change it, EVER!!!

I'd rather keep it that way. Once you start changing passwords frequently they become more insecure IMO.
