whats up with people rating 70% of these threads 1 star?

seriously, in some topics, you dont even know a whole load of info and some idoit decides to rate it 1 star, its quite annoying.

 

lol heh...i don't even pay attention to those ratings, don't look that far to the right lol

 

i rarely rate any thread unless I really like or dislike it but still rarely think to rate a thread

 

It is being abused a lot. Mostly newbies post something really out of this world and then rate their own thread as 5 stars. While the other threads that really deserves 5 stars some people keep on rating it 1 star and the average falls down.

 

I think other hosts do it to make hosts look bad.

Usually because competition rates them lower.

 

I wouldn't pay too much attention to that. A lot of times, people just go around giving 1 star without even reading the thread. It's just mean people - I would not worry about it too much.
