Today I logged in to my CJ account and it said that my balance was $144. When I logged back in it said that my balance was $83. What the heck is going on here? Is there some kind of problem with their system?
Are you using your cj account regularly, if not may be they have deducted some kind of charges from your account. I have heard this a lot that CJ deduct unnecessary charges from publishers commissions. Drop them one mail and confirm with them, they will give you clear picture on this. Thanks
Well, this is the second time this has happened. And the change in my balance usually happens on the same day.
Perhaps you have been paid out!, Check your account balance and payment status. Or look for chargebacks marked in (red).
Most obvious reasons are: 1) Payment extended 2) Cancelled trans 3) Locked - This should be the case. Check out under locked commissions. Dont panic.
I am experiencing the samething...I know my account balance should be at 256.55 but its saying I have 368.98 right now without anything in my reports indicating why! Perhaps its a bug.
That is not a bug. Your locked commission are transferring to publisher commission status. Within this time frame, your overall balance will be messed up but it is a temporarily thing. It will be back to normal after all your locked commission completely transferred to publisher payment.
Yes it is back to normal for me..I never realize how it messes up the real balance during this process.
lol I've said it before and I will say it again, CJ has one of the most redundant and overly complicated payment systems.
Also when payment day is approaching balances have a tendency to go up and down. Has been happening that way for years.
Commissions on two sales I had last month have disappeared. When I emailed the merchant they asked for the transaction id. WTF, do I have to record the trans id on every sale? I only recorded the date and amount of commission. Now that it has disappeared they can't tell me why. Deleting commissions without explanation, yeah, I'm really working hard to promote that merchant.
There is ID attached in every sales you made. You should look in a transaction details in CJ and give them a number to help them look at your transaction and give you an explanation why your sales are reversed.
Actually, I just found the commissions they had taken off. I had 6 supposed leads that say "closed" next to them. Was somebody trying to hack my account to get me kicked of CJ?
Yes, I know. But the transactions have been removed from the report and I did not record the id's before that happened. So they removed commissions without explanation and say they can't track them because I can't give them the id's.
Yeah, I thought it was a little odd about my comissions. My best guess is that maybe there's bugs in their system.
LOL There is no bug in their system, their system is a bug. But it doesn't matter as long as the check/Direct Deposit arrive!! Which they do!
