I believe Google is re-factoring all the PRs.

On my forum I have many (MANY) pages with PR 0, but now I'm seeing more & more unranked. This would indicate that pr0 and unranked were the same, but now they are as they should be...different.

I'm finding that pages Google has not seen yet are unranked, and ones they've indexed but have deemed less then worthy are showing 0.

Glad I'm not the only one seeing some oddness. It's just PR but I do find myself still paying attention to it for some unknown reason.

Even Digitalpoint's Pagerank has decreased to 6 but who cares. Shawn isn't selling links :)

Looks like they've really tightened up the algo this time.
StatCounter, a hugely popular stats tracking site with more backlinks than ever, has apparently dropped down to PR9.

That doesn't have anything to do with the algo tightening up. It's a relative scale. Just means there are more webpages being calculated in.

yeah, it looks like it's across the board decrease of PR. I agree that it's relative. But has anyone noticed that their new pages aren't getting indexed by Google as fast as before since their PR dropped? So far I haven't, but it hasn't been long enough for me to tell.

I'm a new site and my homepage got a pr2, but some of my deeper pages got pr3's and there isn't 1 backlink to it. Very strange

I had a site that got hit 17,000 times yesterday (Wednesday) by Googlebot, and that's up quite a bit. With the site: operator being flaky again it's going to hard to tell what affect that has on actual indexing. I'm guessing it's going to be very site specific, but I haven't noticed any slowdown.

And Yahoo got PR10. I think they've updated their algo and I wonder what that is

Google is recalculating pageranks globally. PR decrease for websites means that there are a lot of new websites coming to the competition, and they build their incoming links faster then you for the moment.

I think there is a chance that the PR update may not be complete or finished.

I dont think Google has confirmed it is finished yet. Also Adam lasnik has said there has been some problems with the recent export .. which i think is what you guys were describing with the greybars.

Yes I agree many strong sites that I know of have decreases by 1. Except for many of my own, but yes its very unusual.

Is anyone heard of another update, usually they do another around 1 month from the main one.

Yes, my subdomain a shopping cart is indexed, connected with bulk uploads on google products, shows backlinks but it turned grey, used to be PR4 though only 3 months old.
