    Hello Gals and Guys.
Glad to be here... since I signed up to get some help with my site, I see that I have to wait 7 days and post 10 times. I just hope I can provide some helpful content and not bring the quality down with my required 10 posts. After all just 6 weeks ago I was Googling "what are backlinks". Seems like a lifetime ago. It's amazing how much you can learn spending about 12 hours a day behind the computer for the last 3 months, drinking diet Coke and eating Pringles. I am just happy my wife didn't leave me.
    Cheers, Pete.

Welcome to DP Pete (Sailor Man),Yea, you've got to hang around for 7 or 14 days (depending on which forum you're trying to post) as new member and have 10 posts minimum or 25 posts for eligibility to enter the politics and religion forums. I think the idea is for new members to get the feel of DP and be more responsible for their actions. In that way, they don't get lost in the maze and not incur in infractions that over time could cost one's membership. Cheers!

Hey Pete,Forgot to say, though, that I'm kind of confused too, myself. Don't really know DP that well. For example, I've posted more than 25 times since becoming member on November 27th but the threads show I've only done 7 posts. Weird
