What's this "send notification" for on a facebook fan page?

    Hi, I'm running a facebook fan page and there's this "send notification" and I tried to use it to see if a message goes to every fan but noooo.

    what's this for? can anyone enlighten me?

    It's for you to send a post or feed to a friend - it goes to their facebook In box. This is not rolled out to all countries yet

    that's why I was asking, cause I'm the admin for a page for the portuguese country and when I send a notification, no one receives it.
