Anyone else had this blog spam with a link to google.com: Google… Google is the best search engine… The IP shows as from Amsterdam. I obviously know its not google, but wondered what the point of it was. If you were checking your ability to get through spam filters, and exploit that, surely you would choose a more unique phrase? Anyone know what the point is?
I get these all the time. It starts out with a message like this, then adds a bunch of spam over time, then finishes with "you have so much spam in here". I use Akismet, so they never get through. Might just be spam for the sake of it.
