You do not have to be a newbie to fall for scams. Heard on the news that this guy fell for that old, send me your money car scam....
Hot looking car forsale for $5,000 - guys wires $5,000k - moneys gone, car doesnt exist, end of story.

What was this guy thinking sending $5k over a wire to someone that he did not know.....?

even today people fall for scams of all types, from young to old....

you talk with somebody online, you build a relation, and it seems very real. so yes, I was very surprised to realize that the person was actually being nice only because he wanted my money and to scam me :(

I've never been scammed for that type of money.

I've never been scammed, just hacked - but I've used these lessons to do better things, and toughen up my security. Scams are easily preventable this days - so how you been scammed since?

No not since and there was a long story and bad circle of influence behind that scam! not i personally but still was my money lol!! I feel like most people, including me that get scammed are on the prowl for something for nothing!!! the end up with nothing for something LOL!!! Nothing will ever beat good ol fashion work ethic!! Now Leverage is a whole other topic! I definitely recommend using leverage! :))

There is no short cut to get success in internet marketing, we need lot of effort, pain, and work hard to get it. Forget about shortcuts or quick cash. There is no shortcut. What does exist is leverage. btw i got my first check $200 from CB last night, finally i made around $700 there with SEO :D

The only way to shortcut it, is if you have friends that are owners of big sites and they're willing to help.

So true! That's why predatory lenders are able to exist in the first place... people trying to get something they really shouldn't have, end up getting screwed 9/10 times

I haven't been scammed of money to the point that I couldn't get it back. I think the closest thing were a few "services" that even though I marked that I didn't want a subscription, charged me the next month anyways.
