Your underplaying the importance Google play on quality, take my word for it, if you have a genuine intention to benefit the users then allowing a site to be submitted to more than one category will not get you banned. Go over and ask Matt Cutt's the question I'm sure he will agree. The only time it will ever get frowned on is if this feature is abused and that will be the fault of the individual directory owner not the script. On second thoughts don't take my word for it, ask Matt, it would be interesting to see his view on that.
Before you post such stupid things you could just check all information available public on my mods website. But seems you are too lazy... The price is $15. And it's not for the mod only - rather for my installation job which always require some time to spend on someone's directory. You can be sure my time required for this is worth far more than $15. Most of installations I do only for my reputation, some popularity, surely not for money. Spending 3-6 hours on installing some of my huge scripts for $20 is really not so profitable. On most directories it's less than price for 1 link to directory. I can't post the mod as ready for download with installation guideline. Each directory has different submission rules. Each dir owner wants to have it different. I think you never seen my mods, as you would never write so stupid things. It's just rather some campaing for Lynx. But if you do it in this way you can be sure it will never be close to PhpLinkDirectory. And this is something that differs both scripts: friendly, helpful, well organized script COMMUNITY (just like PHPLD is now). You can write what you want but you cant'e beat it for today.
phpLynx isin't a friendly script? Support members aren't helpful, as far as I know they offer the best support you can get for free (take note, free is bolded, because it's a big matter over at phpLynx). Tell me, would you rather have a good script, that offers a lot of features, SE friendly, great captcha against spammers, or would you rather pay the license fee of hmm, around 30$? and then go buy mods for around 300-400$ and still miss a lot of features the Lynx script offers? Be my guest mate. What you don't realize is, if I now go and register at the php LD forums, and post a thread at pre-sales area, I'll get a respond within a hour, impressive? Once I purchased the script, the customer care, quality goes much lower, when it gets to a point, customers get pissed off leading, to complains, more than 50% of the posts bug reports, or bug related. 3-6 hours? What?? What kind of scripts are you installing? Another reason why you should go with a script that already have these things installed. You proved my point and others who are changing to phpLynx. Why go with a script thats hard to mod, when you have a superb script that offers all these mods installed already, and note even more features, better ones, that work properly (not bugged ones )
