Whats The Use Of This Underground Section?

    I see that this "underground" section is accessible only to registered users while other sections are not. Any specific reasons to keep this for registered users? I don't get the significance of hiding this section from the anonymous users. Also, underground just has some normal chit chat kind off threads only.

    Was it previously intended to provide some specific kind off threads which will be useful "only" for DP members? and hence the name "underground"???

    It's just a hangout area for only registered members. You don't have to worry about guests or banned members seeing what you post. I guess it's here to make us feel special. Kind of like Area 51 for premium members. Just a neat little perk.

    I think its just here to make unregistered users feel curious about it and get registered . I think the same goes for Area 51 :D
