Google wouldnt just ban people for no reason. Why would they limit their customers who will probably end up going to their competitor. Most people just dont know WHY they are banned. Could be invalid / multiple clicks from someone visiting the site for example.

Those people say they were banned for no reason, but they were probably covering up, not wanting to admit that they actually were committing click fraud to get people on their side. Don't worry about it, just follow the straight road.

There's a reason for everything. No different than the hundreds of support calls we get where when asked what the last thing was that changed on a PC was, the answer is "Nothing". Only to find out they installed AOL or something.

Wrong, they ban for suspected reasons, which they dont make clear or even warn. It is like you post a 3 word post on a forum, you get a warning, then a possible ban, instead of warning, they just BAN you straight away...

They always ban people for a reason, now if the reason is "valid", true or justified is another story. I was banned, got my account back...was there a reason? Of course, they were invalid clicks. Was it my fault? Nope, that's why I got my account back.

IF it wasn't your fault why did they BAN you in the first place ?

if someone is clicking much on your ads, how will you/google prevent him ?

they blame publishers for things they can't control

their system can control this by discarding repeated clicks on the same ad in short time (say 1 hours/2/3) let it be 7 days

but banning people for things they didn't involve in, is lame

Do you mean repeated clicks by IP or just in general? Im sure some ad units receive 50+ clicks per minute. I think there is some room for improvement on adsense, but they are doing a good job. (The biggest improvement would be to hide the adsense account number).

I'm a full-time online publisher and I do strongly believe Google won't ban anybody for no valid reason.

I email them regularly and they replied with 2 days. Sometimes within 24 hours.

If one wants to make money from adsense, establish a good relationship with them. They are human too.

i meant from same IP in short time

your suggestion about hiding the ID is good

i've been always wondering what will happen when someone gets some ID and list it on a banned site or a site that violates adsense TOS (porno?)

Adsense is vulnerable for publishers - it isn't a fair game

google has all the tools to protect itself while publishers don't

my take on it is this; most people that come out here professing their innocence as to why they have been banned is ,for the most part, a lot of who-ey. Keep in mind that Adsense has VERY strict guidelines to follow to keep the integrity of the program at a very high level. Otherwise no one would advertise on a shady network would they?

I have been an Adsense publisher for a couple years and have been very happy with the way things have gone. I highly recommend it..

Because as far as they are concerned, it was my account therefore, my fault.

You are right. I told them that on my appeal. That's why I signed up with other affiliates since Google can send those banning letters anytime. It's scary.

I think Google should implement a warning system with different degrees before banning people.
