I know there are special offer at few places like Godaddy and Namecheap, but how much is the usual price for .info domains. At Godaddy, it says saving of $9, but surely, .info cannot be more expensive than .com.

    It really varies, doesn't it?
Moniker offers them for around $4.49; Namecheap is $8.88; Godaddy is $9.99.
If you take the average, it's around $7.79.

Watch out for "cheap offers" on .info domains.. you need to check how much they charge for the next years and so on.. it might add up to costing more..

The cheap pricing is usually just for the first year. The .info TLDs are not very popular so they lowered the first year prices to reel you in then trapped you with regular prices for renewal. I believe they are about the same price as the .com for renewal.

Godaddy was $0.99 for .info but now there $1.99, for me anyway. There's are just introductory prices to get the punters in.

I've heard that they are alright. 1st time I used them was a couple of days ago, so don't have a lot of experience with them.

Just transfer them to another company after the 1st year
