Rules What's the ruling on promoting porn on avatar?

If it's not allowed, then how can I report those who do?

Of course if you already read the rules you would know that already

If you feel that someone's avatar is against the above rules, simply report it for a mod/admin to look at.

 

Of course I read the rules, I asked because it never mentioned anything about promoting porn. So I guess because it does not mention it, it's allowed.

The only person promoting porn is you. Menj.org has been proven to be the owner of various porn sites.

 

I'm confused. Why would you want to report yourself? Can't you just change your avatar?

The rules are simple. You are not allowed to use nudity or extremely vulgar languaged words in there.

So what you are saying that it's perfectly fine to have the following on your avatar: "we make porn" << would this be safe at your workplace?, I know it won't be for mine.

 

The truth hurts doesn't it ? How about promoting a website that belong to a person that turned some parts of DP into a war zone and was banned multiple times for violating the forum rules and after banning he tried to DDoS DP .

Ah ok, sorry for jumping to conclusions. Anyway im not a moderator or admin, but I do understand the rules here quite well so whilst I might not be 100% correct I do think that what ive said is right unless someone else knows better which I would be more then happy for them to set me straight

 

The word "porn" is not banned, nor is it pornographic. In anticipation of similar questions... the word "evil" will not cause sin, and the word "hot" is exactly the same temperature as the word "cold".

In case the point eluded you... you are promoting the owner of a 5th rate sleazy xxx directory. If you have a problem with porn, all you need do is change your av. He's since hidden this, but the screenshot below shows just who YOU are promoting besides Allah.

The avatars you dislike dont break guidelines, and you'll probably get infracted if you hit the report button to ask mods to punish members for highlighting your hypocrisy.
