    Hello everyone,
I am from India. I have some basic knowledge of SEO and link building. I am planning to provide manual directory submission service. I came to understand that this field has a lot of competition here.

What's the scope and demand? I know back links from directory boost PR. But how many webmasters are ready to pay for manual submission. I have couple of friends who are ready to work online even full time.I spoke to them about directory submission and how frustrating it would be? But they seemed to be ready for it.

Can you help me pricing and how much should i charge? I am ready to spend some time advertising for this service if there is such high demand.

Please help me in this regard.

your valuable advice would be highly appreciated.

Have a Look in the " Services " section of DP :

You can get the idea of the pricing and the competition in the submission service .

What do you mean by manual?

Will you use automated or semi-automated software? Manually clicking the mouse to the submit button? If so then one can find $4/5 for 100 submissions o DP.

But if you will do 99% manul job and just use a form filler then --I think there are no clients on DP as then rates would be too high

Actually i am not sure about the pricing factor. That's why i started this thread. I am ready to start the service. But need to know it's demand and rates. If you have some knowledge then please help me in this regard.

I went through DP and found out that 8$ for 100 directory is average.

why wouldn't you do all of this work build traffic to your own site?

you could take all that time and energy to build an affiliate site and make allot more money with less effort

I would take info you already know and learn how to market an affiliate site if you don't have one

Stick to what you want to do. You can only learn. I would peg the price between 10c and 15c per link. What you need to do is to find a community you are comfortable with and offer a few clients a good deal in return for a reference.

I run a workshop and our principal objective is to assist emerging services to market their skills. We dont have much in the way of demand but thats changing slowly and we would be more than happy to help out if we can.
