whats the point?

    A while ago a domain name expired, it was something like watch-naruto.com anyways, the alexa ranting was 2 million or so, so very high however the domain name. Anyways i was bidding for it as it expired and i think at that time i bid $350 just for the domain name, someone bid 400 and won it. Now, they done nothing what so ever with the website, its just a advertising normal page that u see for inactive websites, why would they pay so much if they plan on doing nothing? or am i missing something?

    Might be getting something ready or they're holding it hoping that it will go up in value in time
