What's the point of the Suggestions & feedback forum? And ban the PR threads...

I'm not trying to say it's pointless... But everytime I see someone post a really good suggestion the mod replies something like "Changes like these are all up to (I forgot that guys name... the one that made DP is it Shane?)". So if people have a request and the mods think it's good why not move it to a "Waiting for approval" section so that then Shane can check if he wants to add it or not?

Also, instead of making a new thread I thought I'd just ask about it here. How about banning all the PR related threads. It's getting pretty annoying trying to help people out in the Google section when theres about 20 other threads talking about "OMG Z3 PR IS G000NN444 CH4NG3 L3T'5 ST4R3 4T TH3 M0N1T0R F0R 4N H0UR!!!!" We all know that the PR doesn't happen instantly but rather differs from each website.. so there can be over 500 threads made in a month all talking about how Google changed their PR.

There are people that actually need help in the Google section and really, not to offend anyone but what makes you think anyone cares that your site got a PR? The only people that should care are the advertisers of your site.

Now again, I say I am not trying to offend anyone but I want to help people out but the annoying threads make me look through pages of crappy content just to find one person in need of actual help.

People like when they are able to post their suggestions, makes them feel like they matter in the community... It is true, that Shawn has to set most stuff up.

Also consider, anything added or changed, changes the whole database and could screw up a lot of things, hence why name changes are not allowed ;)

Germz there are two type of threads that get posted here. They involve things mods can help with and those we can not. As soon as one of us starts trying to work on a problem we can help with we close the thread.

Suggestions we have no control over we report to Shawn and close the thread.

Having the threads closed helps us moderate the forum more rapidly. There is no reason for more than one of us to start working on the same problem.

See sticky, "Why did my thread get closed?"
