Should be around 30-35%, but come tax day you should be able to write off a lot of things to offset that. ie. computer, advertising etc...

If you are talking about social security taxes only - it is 15% for the self employed.

I don't know what adsense is withholding- but if they are just doing an average, it would be about 35% or 38% for U.S. taxes including SS.

Other countries, they may withhold different amount, but I know nothing about googles policy on withholdings.

Your english is off, so I was assuming (and still am assuming) you are outside of the U.S.

Did you use a US address to apply? just curious, since adsense allows for international.

If you live in the us and you are making any substantial amount of money, you should form an ‘S’ Corp, therefore you can lessen you tax liability. SS is 15% like debunked pointed out. However, if you are not a corporation, you have to pay self employment taxes which will kill you to the tune of 35-40%. In my state you can form a corp for $195, $299 for a law firm to do it for you. Good Luck.

First off, I am not a lawyer or an accountant.

You do not pay self employment tax. You get taxed once, instead of twice (as employee and employer)Then, after you apply income vs expense, you file on that amount. Also, you should pay yourself a small salary. That is the essence of it, not the details. I am in the midst of forming one now. So I do not have all the details. =)

I'm guessing that you don't have an accurate answer because if there was an exact percent then we wouldnt have tax tables in our irs workbooks.
