oooh, FFA's. I forgot that phase! Better to forget I guess :p

I just remembered...quite a few years back I invested in something called Going Platinum... waste of money! The owners of the network kept saying it was close to full launch but obviously nothing ever happened. Thought me a few lessons though!

wasted time worrying about design and other stuff while not focusing on marketing my content. I spent time and money on keywords and not on useful, creative content.

My biggest mistake was not taking action on the things I've learned in IM right away. I was overwhelmed with the information and I didn't know where to start. I bid my time some more to learn the tricks of the trade.

I should have started IM last year. The problem was that my family didn't believe the idea that it is possible to earn money from the internet. I should not have listened and followed my instinct instead.

I would say my biggest mistake would be letting the people who tell you that it's not possible keep you from trying to figure out if you this is something you think you can do.

the biggest mistake you can make is placing ads on the wrong place and do research to find out what is best and be patient you noe going to make money overnight, some people want to make money online fast and easy but it do take alittle work and some time but eventually you will make money in a 2 month or so...

My mistake was not realizing that everything is a separate method to get traffic

    Marketing with Social Networking
SEO-ing for search engine traffic with backlinks with good PR
And traffic is only good if it is targeted traffic.

Yeah, I'd like to add that one of the worst things to do is look at your competitors and give up. I've always tried to look at competitors to see how I can improve my site but end up feeling like my site could never be as good as theirs. Take ideas, improve your site, but don't let it discourage you!

Another big mistake i done is jumping on every opportunity that sound and look good without doing research and then find out it wasn't worth the money and not making no money from it or from the info they give etc..

Spending thousands on junk from the internet marketing center. Buyer Beware. They stop supporting their own products, so if you buy something and need help down the road, your S.O.L

My biggest mistake is not building my mailing list right away. People said "Money is in the list" which is in my case was very true.

I'm still new and small and the biggest mistake I've made that has kept me that way is trying to jump in to the deep end before learning how to swim.

If you're new to this Start small and read, read, and read some more. Knowledge is Power.

    Well, that's a no-brainer for me.

Got both my personal and business Adsense accounts banned by, you guessed it, self-clicking.

    Oh well, shite happens :)
