If you had to advice a newbie internet marketer, what is the one best advice that you'd most likely tell him/her?

never pay for internet marketing courses! that is my advice, better invest your money in testing and such then some almost worthless information. I'm not saying courses aren't handy. You can learn a lot from them but none will teach you how to really make money. tHey just give you some pieces you can make a puzzle with yourself and then hopefully make money.

I agree with Luigi (hey there brother :D It's meee Mario haha). Don't buy course after course because it's always the same...

I've started also few months before and I was a total newbie but what I've learned is: Take action. Try, try and try. You will see the money rolling in and then you can create your own product about this method (video course or ebook) and sell it on DP or as WSO. This will make you money for sure...

Combine multiple methods to create new twists for an old thing. Then test, test, test.

Stick to one thing. Avoid hopping from one venture to the next.

Despite what those sales pages tell you, an overnight success is not probable. It will take time to test something out and grow it, so don't give up after a month and try something else. It could be months before you begin to see results.

Overnight success is not possible? Create an own product and sell it as WSO... = Overnight success. It may work with DP too...

Actually, I said "probable" not "possible." :) Two entirely different things there.

And I would hazard a guess that many newbies aren't creating products, they are trying to sell other people's products or they're trying to make ad revenue. Again, just a guess.

I would say don't start a website unless you are truly interested in the content, otherwise you will get bored, then you will get lazy, then you will fail. Do what you are interested in, whether it's a blog, forum, article site, social site is irrelevant at first.

I meant that he should try several methods and add his own twist. If its work he can sell it as WSO or here on DP.

Focus on 1 thing only, and don't move on until you have mastered it. But nobody listens to that advice (I sure didn't).

I disagree with those that say you should not buy a marketing or training course. Yes, the information is available for free in most cases if you spend enough time looking. But, there are an awful lot of aspiring internet entrepreneurs that need that one piece of information.

A person can't have all the skills all the time. I learned long ago that I wasn't a good coder. I also learned that my TIME is better spent doing the things I love to do.

Buying an info product is no different. If it promises to teach you something you want to know, go for it. There's rarely any risk there. Don't like it...get your money back.

I'm first in line whenever one of my mentors releases a new product. I buy out of respect and the search for that one special nugget that will set me off with a 100 new ideas. A person in this business medium should never stop learning. I want an edge and don't mind paying people who know something I don't.

Hey there. The piece of advice i would give is to stay focused on one project at a time. Find someone online to learn from as a mentor, follow the advice and stay focused on that and do not get derailed into jumping from one mentor or course or opportunity to another.

My biggest piece of advice is to get started. It's easy to fall into the trap of reading, watching, reading some more and then doing some reading. You need to work. You'll make mistakes, but you'll also learn more.

DO NOT SIT AND READ READ READ! If you ever read about a method and think you might be able to make it work, before moving on to the next method, IMPLEMENT IT

    One piece of advice....
Read everything you can about writing good Ad Copy.......

Create a swap file of the best "ads" you see.....

Once you learn how to "speak" to your customer instead of "sell" to him, you can sell ice to an eskimo.
