Hello, I started a local business page, but if I don't create a profile to go with it, I don't have any access to regular users. I can't invite them to the page, I can't interact with them in any way. How am I supposed to get likes (I need 25 if I want a custom link)? People can't find me in their search box either. What's the strategy people should use in this case? Should I just advertise my link or hand it over to my friends so they can post it on their profiles and that's that? Or is there a better way?
What facebook accepts and recommends is You to pay Facebook Adverts for advertising your fan page. Things are not like they used to be, either you hire a specialist to do it for you and you pay him accordingly h t t p : / / usocial . net / facebook_marketing / (there are other services offering the same but cheaper that you can find on this forum though) or you try to trick facebook and your profile might very often get disabled and deleted...
Put a Like box on your site/blog. A Like box will enable people to like your page without even visiting the page.
I guess if you dont wanna outsource it, then you have to create a profile of your own and then start a fan page. To increase the life, do some viral marketing strategy and implement it with some viral images, content and viral videos. I am sure, you will get the results the very next moment
Great advice, thanks! If someone else has the same problem, look around this subforum because I found some similar topics
Normal strategy I have seen that get tons of crazy "like" is a discount, promotion, giveaway, prize and contest.. give it a try!
also you can buy ads not by suggested price but for 0.01 perclick not so mych clicks but extracheap. 10-20 bucks and you are popular)
OK my field of work is PC Repairs. So how would I go about marketing that? I mean someone above said something about viral pictures and videos.
It seems as though facebook is trying to make it so the only way to get fans is to pay facebook for them. Kinda lame, but its important for me to build it up.
