Does ask still use Jeeves as their 'mascot'? I remember when I was a kid I always loved Jeeves.

I think its AOl. Although it uses google results but AOL is a very popular brand...

AOL isn't an engine. They may be the #4 search site, but they use the google engine. I'm fairly certain that Ask (no Jeeves any more) is the #4 engine.

I would also say it's ask. At least that's what my stats are showing.

Sheesh! What happened to Jeeves? Jeeves was the man.

And yea, I guess Ask.com is 4th. But in my personal opinion, its 2nd. Google is the best IMO, then comes Ask, then Yahoo (don't know why I don't like them), then MSN (always hated MSN).

I love MSN as a webmaster, but yeah, I don't use it much for search.

Talking about search engines, any body knows the search volume of Overture relative to say Google? (that is, if given keywords where searched say 1000 times per month on overture, what would the Google equivalent be for that phrase?)

From the stats result Ask.com is the #4, if we exclude AOL ;)

yeah, when you think about it, who cares. Even #3 MSN sends pathetic traffic, compared to Google.
