Whats the NEXT Big Thing?

I think Yahoo and Bing would do something together.

 

It has to be something to do with mobile.... Desktop and laptop sales are down, Tablets and Smartphone sales are growing like crazy...

 

RebelMouse.com seems to be a big topic now a days. Looks like a great platform that pulls in all of your social media stuff into one website.

 

The book "Physics of the Future" uses a quite scientific approach to research questions like that.
Maybe it can be applied for software as well or in a similar way?

 

Definitely something to do with mobile... just look at all the apps that sale on iStore and how many people now have smartphones... using the internet via desktop PC's will soon be a thing of the past...

 

There's already such a thing, atleast in my country

 

Cloud desktops and cloud computing. Thinclients that process all the requests on the server, and then return it to the thinclient.This way we could save electricity, processing hours, etc.
