What's the most you've spent on a domain?

Well a 75$ expired domain, just for traffic..That was the highest i have gone

 

The most I've paid for a single domain is $50. I own just over 100 so I spend about 1K a year.

 

I've (or at least my company have) paid ~$15.000 for a domain name. Sold six months later for ~$19.500, so it was a good investment. Investing in expensive domain names might be a risky business, especially if you don't have access to reliable traffic data. And the Right Way to measure traffic is obviously different depending on who you ask...

 

$35 for a .tv reg - but have sold some premium domains for much more.

 

In my early days, I once paid £100+ but I was naieve (s/p?) then.

 

I sold one for $75 once. Most I've paid is a few pounds...

 

A friend recently purchased a domain for 20 k USD

 

£9 - about $15USD

Never seen the need to spend much more than the basic rate. BUT I can see the potential value some names may have for companies with deep pockets

 

$50 for a bust :'(

 

I usually just buy my own domain names from NameCheap for $8. On one occassion I bought a domain name for $20 from someone and sold it for $60 later.

 

180$ is the most i have spent in a domain name, actualy is still sandboxed

 

Well...never buy expired domains.... always reg. new for $7

 

Hmm.. I think I have paid around $400 max for a domain.

 

8 is very lucky number for me.. but sumtimes 7 and 2 also are luckier for me
