page rank is not a criteria for serp . it's a number which is calculated for fun. the answer of your question changes your site optimization and your site category

Ok, take it from someone who knows. One of my sites is PR5 and has a little over 6,000 backlinks, and receives usually 160 uniques daily. Thats just me, but I wouldn't say 0. But PR has barely anything to do with traffic, and no one can really tell you what to predict. Now if your SERP's are good then that's a different ball game.

How can anyone say backlinks dont affect traffic?

If you get number 1 in google for a highly searched term thanks to your backlinks I'd say theres a connection there :D

That's making the assumption that the backlinks are providing traffic, and it's not always the case

Really? I'd say there's more correlaton between allinanchor:keyword than PR. There's plenty of high PR sites that don't ran well at all

Zero if your site is about
    adgfagvbaqet
    likgajardgnem
    and
    nwqjkagtagf.

For example, Google.com is PR10 and you rarely see it in any search results. It doesn't even rank #1 for Search or 'Search engine'
