Is there a minimum CTR % that you need to be above in order to prevent from getting a low QS? EDIT: I know it has more to do than CTR, but I only need to know this aspect of QS.
uhh, there's a bit more to it than that. I would suggust starting here... https://adwords.google.com/support/bin/topic.py?topic=9353
omg... i know it has more to do than ctr, but i don't care about the other things atm. .______. ctr does in fact affect QS. Do some testing yourself.
Then the simple answer is "no", there's no minimum CTR you need to attain to not have a low QS. Other elements of the QS (bid for example) can offset a low CTR.
It completely depends on the keyword. Google might rank a CTR of 2% on a specific keyword as Poor if the other ads on the page have much higher CTRs, and they may rank a CTR of 0.5% as Great on a keyword with almost no competition. There's no easy answer to this, just experiment & you'll find out.
There is no set CTR....If your competitors ads suck and yours do too , the only factor here is relevency and bid price. Lets say I have a CTR of 3% and all of my competitors have a CTR of 15%....My ad would get a bad QS. You get the idea?
