What's the maximum you'd pay for a number plate?

The Sydney International Motor Show is happening, and Shannons are auctioning off some single digit number plates. They are expecting one set of plates in particular to go for around 1 million Australian dollars. Freaking crazy!

So what would you be willing to pay for a set of plates?

It depends on my status in society. If what I bought and did was covered by one and all, then why not ? OFC you'd need to have a bank balance which would not get affected in the least by such transactions.

I never understand what is the charm in getting license plates of single number. I wouldn't spend anything on it other than the regular fees.

Count me as another voter for paying not more than regular fee.
