To be honest, I'm in the wedding niche (huge craze right now) and I started off at .30/click and have since been able to lower it to .22/click and am still getting just as many clicks as I had with the .30/click. Yes my ads are on the 2nd page of google, but for me that has been maxing out my budget almost every day (have found holidays and thursdays to be a little slow with traffic). Granted my budget is very small, as I haven't seen much sales yet (must be my landing page) however seeing that searchers are interested in my ideas is nice. Hope that helps
yup crazy google isn't it I will never paid over $1 if i do, i will be brook super soon still have much to learn about adwords yesterday when i signed up with adwords it was a disaster but I am understands it now my max bid is $0.51 yesterday i got 24 clicks = 8.69 dollars not bad still too much I think
i have set a maximum of .30$ in adwords. i always need initial visitors to test my new born website, and then it comes up on serp.
$5 / £2.50 for plastic pallets -- Outrageous. Its all dependent i guess, it will just keep increasing as SEO increases in demand and popularity.
It partly depends on the industry (i.e. conversion rates and popularity) Personally, I top out around $1.00-$1.25 a click. However, I have clients who have very specific keywords and industry (one is a document imaging company that produces its own software) they bid upto $5.00-$6.00 on certain keywords, but their conversion rates make it profitable. Basically because if someone knows the name of their software and/or product name exactly, they are probably going to buy it
My maximum payout was around 2.09$ per click but not for highly searched keyword it was......which is very much generic.
exactly! Max. Bid doesn't mean anything without looking at the industry you are in and the product you are promoting. If your profit margin is $200/sale you can easily afford $2 per click. This is obviously different if you only have a margin of $10/sale.
I know that some Insurance Companies pay upwards of $50 per click to get near top pos. Serious dough! D.
