What's the longest you've been away from a computer?

I'm away from computer when :
- I sleep
- I go out for smoking
- I take a bath and other closet activities
- Someone's knocking my door
- I die.

So, I think the longest time I've been away from computer is 4 - 6 hours (when I sleep).

 

I can not remember,maybe a couple of day when I stay with my family on a farm.

 

Probably weeks at a time. Can't remember

 

Three years ago when I go to vacation I manage to stand away from my computer in a month.

 

I remember there were 7 or 8 terrible days without touching the computer...I was hiking in the mountains since that moment I avoid living a single day without my computer

 

5 years for me. It didn't bother me. Then I got this lap top.

 

1 month! When i was younger (about 10), i smashed my mums car window (by accident) and she stopped me from using the computer, phoned the local libraries to make sure i couldn't go there and contacted my headteacher too.

 

Probably about a week.

 

6 weeks, didn't matter anyway, I seldom used the computer back then.

 

7 days when my first computer had gotten 48 different virus.
Also every year i drive to rest on the sea for 4-6 days and i feel some stress if i haven't Internet during 2 days.

 

When I sleep and with my friends.
On Saturdays mostly.

 

when i got throat infection for one week

 

1988-1993

 

I think a couple weeks

 

well I only used computers for brief amounts of time circa 1993-2000. during school.
Since graduating high school I didn't get a pc until 2003. it was a bitza from my grandfather who had modified over time.(he knows electronics) So it was an old machine. i think memory 64MB and storage was 6gig,complete with CRT monitor.
I pretty much woke up at 8am,went to bed around midnight!! ..and to think ihad dialup then too..what a pain.
killed it in early '04. so i went without a pc for 6months! couldn't afford a new one.
Eventually got a new one. 1 year later system crashed..so i went from win 98 to win2000 i think. when i moved to adelaide in 2005..it died and was reborn into a winME. so that was 2weeks without a pc working.
In june 05 i paid off a layby on this current laptop(acer aspire 3000). By then,the desktop wasn't doing a good job. I still have it shed. Can't remember if it actually works or not LOL

so yea the most is 6months. Lately over the last 3 yrs since getting my laptop ..i've gone without it about a month. thats when i went on holiday and went into hospital. But i did take it with me LOL(not into hospital)

 

2 days when i was on small holiday.

 

only 1 to 2 hour if the internet connection is too slow...

 

Well I spent the majority of fifteen years away from computers. >.>

 

I don't know what will I be missing online, if I will be away from my pc for a couple of days but so far not more than 2o hours

But may be this weekend, because I will be taking a vacation. It's a 6 days far from the city and I am not sure if I could find a internet cafe there I just hope I will, but maybe just to check some emails and also to check my websites traffic stats .
