    A .tel domain name, like a virtual business card, is primarily for people / businesses who don’t have a dedicated website but need simple mechanism to put all their contact information on the web.

    It wasn't a bad idea but it never took off. I mean does anyone here actually owns and USES .tel?

    even google and facebook not use .tel for virtual contact information...

    there are so many options better than using .tel for publish our contact information...

    very crapy extraction ... i have registerd a 2 word domain... with .tel extraction.. But deleted same day the domain..
    You can not develop website with that.. just give contact Info.. :(
