Whats the hottest extension?

Sorry if it has already been posted I'm relatively new here.. I was wondering what THE hottest domain extension is? I think it's still .com am I right?

 

.com is king and always will be

 

thats what i thought but now there is all these new extension.. .biz seems to be hot

 

.biz is crap. What makes you think it's hot?

 

Is .com, will be .com - its not going to change. Why? Simple - every company advertises the fact they are a .com

if you buy any others - its purely for protecting your brand. i.e if u own - mybrandname.com - you'd by mybrandname.org/net/biz/tv etc

If you dont have the .com - you have sold yourself short of your brand.

well i thought .biz was hot for businesses, since it is more expensive than others.. i was hoping it was hot lol i have a couple of .biz im tryna get rid of

 

.com is the main one but i do have a few .us as in say Diyfrom.us which i thought worked well.

 

I agree that .com is hottest. lets discuss what is hot except .com. what is hot CCTLD? I guess .us/.co.uk?

.net
.org

Why can't you invest in .edu?

 

and sometimes .tv

COM is the dominant.
It is also the oldest, best know, less available, most marketed...

No no, you're mistaken! Everyone types in .biz automatically and never give a second thought to .com

 

.us is also good - for the US market
