well as the ps3 will not be out in the uk until march07 the top game in the uk is Deal or no deal board game followed by anything Dr Who related
I agree, most people I talked to were wanting the WII for themselves or there kids. Not that many want the PS3 apparently
I would say a PS3 but its its not meant to be out till march 07 but you can get one at xmas for a nice cost of £1000 in the UK so ill do with a wii
well i`m 31 now so no longer get presents for xmas and my oldest child is only 8 and she already has an xbox 360,ps2,laptop and nintendo ds
To OP I would advise going to toy fairs,it will show you all the big toys over christmas. My dad got furbies after seeing it and sold loads of them.
TMX Elmo is supposed to be the hottest gift this christmas. Has been sold out for a few months everywhere...
Yeah that new Elmo doll is actually pretty cool. I think you can see it in action on a video somewhere on Break.com, just search for it.
It's all about the Wii, simply because the starting price will only be $200 and has been designed for much more innovative gameplay. Unlike Sony, Nintendo knows that gamers aren't the richest people in the world.
Yeah but who wants to play all their games with a remote control? That's the one thing that is turning me away from the Wii.
That's okay, still cheaper than PS3. I also admit that I'm biased more towards Nintendo products anyway
That's what attracts me. There will definitely be a big buzz about the Wii before Christmas. My local games shop owner told me he could only get hold of one when it gets released, so it will be a case of queues to get hold of it and the console selling for silly prices on Ebay. I'll be waiting for the fuss to die down and the price to drop even further, like anyone else with any sense. But I guess if you want to resell the latest must-have toy on Ebay in time for Christmas, you're targetting soft parents with more money than sense. Doctor Who stuff will also be popular, especially in the UK (I don't know how much attention it gets in other countries).
