What's the fastest you've ever been indexed?

I don't know how fast my pages get indexed, but I've heard of people having their newly created stuff indexed as fast as six hours.

Anyone done this well or better? Oh yeah, and if you want to drop some hints as to how you pulled it off, that would be cool, too!

 

I sometimes get my new pages indexed within 5 minutes. The trick is to update your content frequently and Google will learn to come a lot. I have my content set to update every hour automatically.

You can also use ping services to hint that you have updated your content.

 

- Update your site regularly
- Write quality content
- Get quality inbound links
- Ping Google about your latest update
- Submit your site map to Google Webmaster Tools

This can index you within 30 minutes...

 

On my blog I once had a blog post indexed in under 1 minute just by doing a ping to like 92 ping services.

I set up a new blog on a new domain yesterday and had all pages indexed within 5 hours of buying the domain

 

I have one blog that is indexed almost instantly. The very first post I made on the blog was indexed with in 30 minutes and all other posts are with in 10 minutes. I have never been able to get any of my other blogs to get indexed that quickly so i have no idea what it is with that one blog. I have the same plugins and all other SEO stuff on all my blogs but that one is the gem when it comes to indexing.

 

on my personal blog i also get indexed in like... 10 minutes after the post is published but i have around 12k backlinks ~ maybe that's why it's indexed so fast.

 

it takes me usually a couple of days, but I am a lame n00b

 

Blogs, especially the ones built on WP get crawled and indexed faster because they have an auto ping function.

The other way of getting indexed faster is leaving a link on websites that are crawled frequently like forums and social media websites.

I use a plugin in wordpress which pings numerous sites to let them know when my blog gets updated.

It usually takes 10-30 minutes to get indexed for me.

 

About 20 minutes to get indexed

 

blogs get indexed really quickly - so do forums... but what about just websites...

 

3 days by telling google you have new content.

Also, here is another trick that you can do. You can always ping the search engines so that you will tell them that "hey i updated my content come and visit and spider my website you." Here is the code: http://api.moreover.com/ping?u=http://www.YourSiteMapURL

 

nice, i will try this. what search engines do they ping? i created a file that pings google, yahoo, live and ask.

 

One site of mine gets indexed within a few minutes usually. Good for those hot topics on google trends (Site has 7k + bl)

Another one sometimes takes days, just like Allout, i have no idea what the difference is between the sites. (Site has 9k bl)

 

The fastest i get indexed is within 12 hours but dont know the exactly time

 

i get index w/in the next 24 hour or sometimes 2 days. never instantly.

I usually get all my sites index by writing an article and submitting it to diggs, thats takes about 3 hours

 

LOL at some of the comments! It's like comparing ring sizes. But seriously, I appreciate the comments in the thread. Very helpful and informative. I see blog having an advantage based on a lot of comments here which doesn't really help me, other than to twist my arm into blogging more.
