i`m still using keepvid.com , i just use it recently and its still work great . Just make sure you use keepvid bookmarklet, not copy paste youtube address to keepvid.

I just use the online convertors- Youtubetomp3. It does it quick and painlessly. It's good if I need to extract snippets of audio for media production or something for my website.

keepvid.com works fine now, so why not have a try again. For me, I'd like to use some thrid-party downloading program to download YouTube videos, like RealPlayer. Becasue it can not only help me download online video but also it can help me manage my downloaded videos. However, Realplayer has a big disadvantage, that is, it can only support downloading videos from a few video sharing sites. Anyhow, I hope you can find the right way to download YouTube video to PC as soon as possible.

If keepvid.com is not working the most probable cause is that your JVM (Java Virtual Machine) is not running. Uninstall it form the Add Remove Programs in your Control panel. Then google : Java Virtual Machine download. Download it and reinstall it. Then restart your system. Then try using keepvid. This should work.

try IDM, very simple downloader and intergrated firefox addons.

 

Use Internet Download Manager (IDM) to download the youtube videos and other videos from other sites as well........

 

yeah i agree with you, just add file type on options IDM.

 

If you're browsing with Firefox try the "Super Video download" plugin. Orbit is good, jDownloader is good, Keepvid.com is good. Although, I've had lots of problems using Orbit and Keepvid. Won't use either anymore. Try Googling, "download youtube videos" or "download streaming video" for lots of other possibilities.

 

You can use Internet Download Manager.... It is best for download videos from all websites.
