Your Mac most likely came with "imovie" installed on it.
"imovie" is very simple, easy to learn video editing software which should be able to watermark your video no problem.

    I don't understand your question.
If you have FCP and After Effects you should have no problem at all.

the problem is, sometimes, audio is out of sync, FCP and AF said.. so, i can't easily edit and add water mark or a few more frames to the existing one... maybe it was the problem with the original video.

    thanks

I would say camtasia 6, you can watermark add clickable links to the video, record the screen with it and much more. However the latest version does cost a coulpe of hundreds of $.

It will create the video in multiple formats with all file for uploading to the internet.

After effects or FCP would be best for outputting.

import the avi into after affects and then try to export it as a quicktime file or flv and see if that fixes you audio sync problem. avi files can be a little quarky sometimes in final cut or afteraffects (on a mac)

Take a look at watermark factory, but its not free. However, there is a free version you can download and try for 30 days. Here is a link - http://www.watermarkfactory.com/

It can watermark AVI and convert avi to mpg, mpg to avi, has support for real media format, WMV and several other formats. Plus it can resize the video, and change the bitrate while watermarking. It can watermark with text and with image. So if you wanted to, you could use the image off your website as the watermark logo.

I have been using watermark factory for about a year and a half, and I have never had any problems.

camtasia would not work because my videos are original videos, i don't want sound quality to go down. thanks alot for the input, everyone...

i tried with after effects on my mac, now i am keen windows ones, in fact, i just want to have my website link on my video for a few seconds, that's all, or maybe like a TV logo..

i think i might probably have to buy vidlogo...

any more inputs, will be very much appreciated, if possible, i would love to use freeware, i will also do more research on this..

because i am doing some youtude videos in my language and other people just took my videos without consents and I can't do much.. actually i currently have 400 video views a day from my videos.. it's not for monetization, but it would be nice if I could let all the viewers know where the real source is.

    thanks for ur time

I'm not clear on why Final Cut Pro is a problem or causing synch issues?

Watermarking is a simple graphic "super" that should not touch the audio tracks - or am I missing something?

I also use Premiere on an XP machine. As long as your editor can handle the file format all you need to do is add the watermark graphic to your timeline and super it.

    Or use text, of course.
