Although it is in the wrong section but I will still reply. Google search is the search volume... Means people who perform monthly search on something ... You can check how many searches performed for a particular keyword in adwords section. It will tell you exactly how many searches were performed .. For example go to google adword and click on keyword idea. Search for Make Money Online and see how many searches were done last month in NOV 09.. Search results are what you get once you perform the keyword search in the Google search engine ( type the keyword and click search lol).... For example for Make Money Online the search results are 172,000,000.. Yes 172 millions search results.. That shows you how many people have make money online as a keyword on their sites. Now the top 10 are raking in some big dollars for this special keyword... so anyone who has the website showing on the first page of google search result can get ton of free traffic and make lots and lots of money for free... While on the right hand side you will see sponsored links. Those are the people who are paying for that particular keyword to have their site appear on the first page of google....
