Hi guys, does anyone know if I got some one side .gov backlines to my site, then will the pr become 5+ and SERP's benefit a lot? let me know ur opinions. tks
You mean if you get a .gov backlink? Yes it will certainly increase your pr as well as SERP, although it is difficult to say what will be the pr, but it will increase.
normally to get .gov link Site must have good quality so google give some value for it. We can add link on .gov site with another 3rd party way. but google doesn't know so still your PR will increase.
my site launched 3 months ago, but the traffic is still 100 ips per day, I don't know why, however, I got several .gov one side backlinks, how much traffic can I expect 1 month later? any input is appreciated.
I don't think links from .gov or .edu get more value than other links like from .com. It's impossible that when you get .gov link or more, your site traffic would increase dramatically. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=607840
.gov and .edu domains are just intrinsically authoritative. They are not favoured by G because of their extension! A one-way backlink from one of these sites is of no more value to you than a one way backlink from an authoritative .com. To reiterate: TLD has nothing to do with SERPs (besides the obvious geotargetting)
.gov tend to be trusted/authority sites which can help. If those types of sites think your site is worth linking to Google will think its a good quality site.
It depends on the PR of the backlink. And one Backlink doesnt guarantee high SERPS and PR 5+. { It may guarantee a PR5+ if it a a PR7+ dofollow backlinks}
