Whats the difference btwn Google Analytcs & AWstats?

    Whats the main differences between these two ...AWstats shows my new Debt Consolidation Blog with good traffic while Google hardly shows any!

    The main difference is Google Analytics is Javascript based, so you only get a "hit" if the browser hitting is has Javascript enabled, and isnt blocking the Analytics script.

    AWStats on the other hand reads the server logs, and counts every access, from robots, crawlers and other automatic browsers as well as valid users.

    You will need the analytics code on each page for it to register all your visitors, but because of the reason above AWStats will always report more visitors.
