Whats the difference between visits & pageviews?

    yesterday i had 960 something visits but 1600+ page views :confused:

    it means that there were 960 visitors on your sites
    and the visitor comes to your sites and navigates through other pages also so it is counted as page views
    as if i visit site
    and go through 5 site pages than
    the stats would be
    1 visits
    and 5 page views

    If a person A come to your site, the visits = 1

    If he visit 2 pages, then the pageviews will increase to 2, if he visits 3 pages then your pageviews will be 3.
