What's the difference between Page Rank and Toolbar Page Rank?

    The toolbar version you see is most likely 3-6 months behind in value compared to the PageRank that Google internally uses to evaluate sites.

    toolbar PR is the green line you see on your google tool bar which says your site is PR2 or PR4 or whatever. page rank by itself could either mean tool bar pagerank or directory PR commonly known as SERP depending on how people use it. however, SERP is what we are more concerned of as thats what dictates how your site ranks based on your keyword compred to others/competitors
